Vertafore/AMS360 Agency Consultant

Kite Technology is expanding the scope of agency consulting services we offer to include Vertafore/AMS 360 Consulting and we’re searching for an enthusiastic professional to join our team! The purpose of the Vertafore/AMS360 Consultant position is to provide expert consulting on the AMS360 agency management system to assist insurance agencies in successfully migrating to AMS360 and/or maximizing the value of AMS360 for their agency. The primary role of the Consultant is to understand the specific agency management priorities and requirements of the client and recommend system configurations and workflows that will optimally meet the client’s objectives. The Consultant will have the freedom to recommend and deliver solutions suited to the clients’ needs.

Expectations/Responsibilities

Independently manage agency consulting engagements to the satisfaction of the client
Deliver consulting services including management recommendations, workflow development, system configuration, and end user training
Maintain real-time documentation of consulting activities for the purpose of recording progress and ensuring accurate client billing
Maintain in-depth knowledge of AMS360 and insurance agency Management trends
Job is primarily remote. Some travel for marketing events or sizable clients is optional.

Non-Negotiable Requirements

2-3 years of experience consulting on AMS360 or working as the AMS360 subject matter expert within an agency of 20 or more users
Proficient with general office applications
Experience successfully working autonomously and collaboratively with a team
Professional written and verbal communication
Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills
Willingness and experience employing all elements of virtual meeting tools (i.e. cameras, meeting software, self-service appointment setting) to maximize the virtual consulting experience for clients
Self-motivated and agile

Preferred Candidate Attributes:

8+ years’ experience in the insurance agency industry either working for an agency or providing services to agencies.
Active and visible in the NetVU Community
AMS360 accounting experience
Management/supervisory experience
Experience with a proven process for building trust and confidence of management personnel within independent insurance agencies
Bachelor’s degree

Compensation & Benefits:

Base = $80,000-$100,000 based on experience
